EVESCO, part of Power-Sonic Corporation, is seeking a hands-on and customer-focused Application Technician (Electrical) to join its growing team in EMEA, Nijkerk, NL location.

In this role, you will support the deployment, operation, and optimization of EV charging infrastructure and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). You will be responsible for installation, commissioning, diagnostics, maintenance, and technical support, both on-site and remotely. The job requires frequent travel throughout Europe.

This position combines field service, technical expertise, and customer interaction, making you a key technical representative of the organization. You will also contribute to internal battery testing and application validation across multiple industry segments within Power-Sonic EMEA.

You work closely with Engineering, Product Development, Sales, and Customer Service teams to ensure effective collaboration and continuous improvement across all activities. You actively participate in training programs to stay up to date with the latest products, tools, and service procedures, while consistently ensuring compliance with all relevant safety, quality, and regulatory standards, including those related to medium-voltage systems.

Key Responsibilities

Field Service & Technical Support

• Perform installation, commissioning, testing, maintenance, and repair of EVESCO equipment (EV chargers and BESS) 

• Execute electrical installations and perform system diagnostics and troubleshooting 

• Provide remote support via phone or video conferencing 

• Follow commissioning procedures and collaborate with EPC contractors, engineers, and customer technical teams 

• Deliver on-site product training to customers and partners 

Battery Applications & Testing 

• Support application validation and provide technical input to Sales and Engineering teams 

• Conduct in-house testing and validation of battery solutions across segments such as Medical, Industrial, Network Power, and Datacenter 

• Perform lead-acid and lithium battery testing 

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Electrical background required (electrician certification, associate degree, or equivalent experience)

• Experience in field service, electrical systems, or industrial environments 

• Experience with EV charging, BESS, or similar systems.

Technical Knowledge

• Solid understanding of electrical systems, installation, and field service practices 

• Familiarity with control systems, PLCs, and electrical safety standards 

• Experience with technical documentation and commissioning procedures 

• Fluent in English and Dutch
