JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
We are seeking a driven bi-lingual sales support representative to lead Power-Sonic’s sales efforts with current and prospective distributors, system integrators and value-added resellers in the Central and South American market. The successful candidate will manage existing relationships for growth and pursue new opportunities and projects with channel partners and OEM’s throughout the region. Â
POSITION SUMMARY AND OBJECTIVE
The primary function of this role is to accelerate growth at existing accounts, develop new business opportunities, and deliver top-line revenue in a profitable manner consistent with budgeted requirements. Key duties include developing and managing the existing customer base in Latin America and achieving specifications with targeted OEM’s and end users. The successful candidate will collaborate with all stakeholders to develop strategies, set goals, implement sales plans, and deliver growth targets.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Identify and close new opportunities for market share within existing client base and through a vetted group of customer targets.Â
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies, manage client relationships, and oversee the sales process from prospecting to contract execution.Â
• Screen potential new business opportunities for strategic fit, potential, profitability and growth. Maintain pipeline of 3x sales target and report on prospective activity and results.Â
• Close new business opportunities by coordinating communications, deal requirements, negotiating contractual commitments and gaining necessary client commitments.Â
• Participate in strategic planning process to ensure alignment with goals.Â
• Understand the competitive landscape, market trends and channel structure to institute changes in response to changing market conditions.Â
• Generate and execute customer growth plans while measuring success against targets.
• Manage administrative procedures in the sales process and support cash collection and project management activities, where required.Â
• Prepare sales contracts, proposals, and reports for management of business opportunities.Â
• Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor activities and customer requirements.
• Other duties as required and requested by senior management.Â
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
– 2-5 years of proven customer-facing sales success of meeting/exceeding sales targets.Â
– Experience with battery technologies and energy storage systems a plus.
– Fluency in English and Spanish required.
– Ability to travel to Mexico City 1-2 times per year.
SKILLS
– High level of computer literacy and strong business acumen.
– Demonstrable negotiations skills and an effective sales process.
– Enthusiastic, positive, initiative-taking and have strong leadership skills.
– Strong verbal and written communications skills.
– Competency within Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).

EVESCO, part of Power-Sonic Corporation, is seeking a hands-on and customer-focused Application Technician (Electrical) to join its growing team in EMEA, Nijkerk, NL location.
In this role, you will support the deployment, operation, and optimization of EV charging infrastructure and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). You will be responsible for installation, commissioning, diagnostics, maintenance, and technical support, both on-site and remotely. The job requires frequent travel throughout Europe.
This position combines field service, technical expertise, and customer interaction, making you a key technical representative of the organization. You will also contribute to internal battery testing and application validation across multiple industry segments within Power-Sonic EMEA.
You work closely with Engineering, Product Development, Sales, and Customer Service teams to ensure effective collaboration and continuous improvement across all activities. You actively participate in training programs to stay up to date with the latest products, tools, and service procedures, while consistently ensuring compliance with all relevant safety, quality, and regulatory standards, including those related to medium-voltage systems.
Key Responsibilities
Field Service & Technical Support
• Perform installation, commissioning, testing, maintenance, and repair of EVESCO equipment (EV chargers and BESS)Â
• Execute electrical installations and perform system diagnostics and troubleshootingÂ
• Provide remote support via phone or video conferencingÂ
• Follow commissioning procedures and collaborate with EPC contractors, engineers, and customer technical teamsÂ
• Deliver on-site product training to customers and partnersÂ
Battery Applications & TestingÂ
• Support application validation and provide technical input to Sales and Engineering teamsÂ
• Conduct in-house testing and validation of battery solutions across segments such as Medical, Industrial, Network Power, and DatacenterÂ
• Perform lead-acid and lithium battery testingÂ
Qualifications
Education & Experience
• Electrical background required (electrician certification, associate degree, or equivalent experience)
• Experience in field service, electrical systems, or industrial environmentsÂ
• Experience with EV charging, BESS, or similar systems.
Technical Knowledge
• Solid understanding of electrical systems, installation, and field service practicesÂ
• Familiarity with control systems, PLCs, and electrical safety standardsÂ
• Experience with technical documentation and commissioning proceduresÂ
• Fluent in English and DutchÂ
You demonstrate strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities, combined with effective communication skills that enable you to interact confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You bring a customer-oriented mindset and present yourself professionally in all situations.
